High Performance Fujifilm Cameras
Fujifilm makes many cameras for intermediate and advanced photographers. These cameras are expensive, but offer a good level of image quality and performance.
Another distinctive aspect of many high-end Fujifilm cameras is the retro design. The black or silver and black case will remind you of old film cameras.
Fujifilm Mirrorless Cameras
Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Cameras (ILC) are the most popular cameras offered by Fujifilm. These cameras make up the bulk of Fujifilm's lineup, with nearly a dozen models available.
- Versatile :
You can change the target to achieve different shooting capabilities.
- Fast :
These cameras offer fast autofocus and the ability to capture fast-moving subjects well.
- High-quality Images :
These cameras create high-quality images and videos similar to those of entry-level DSLR cameras.
- Price :
Fujifilm's mirrorless CILs are expensive, but offer many desirable features. You can expect to pay between Rs. 50,000 Rupees and Rs. 1 Lakh for the camera body alone. You can also choose to purchase additional lenses, which can cost anywhere from Rs. 26,000 to Rs. 70,000 each. Telephoto lenses tend to cost more than wide angle or medium focal length lenses. Any X mount lens will fit Fujifilm mirrorless cameras.
Fixed Lenses of Fujifilm Cameras
Some high-end cameras from Fujifilm have a built-in lens that you can' change, like a point-and-shoot camera.
High-quality Lenses:
These fixed-lens Fujifilm cameras have much better lens quality than most typical entry-level cameras. In fact, many have interior components and lens glass that approximate what you'd find on Fujifilm's mirrorless ILCs,
Fun Fujifilm Cameras
Fujifilm also makes many camera models that are aimed at beginning photographers and designed to be fun to use. These cameras have colorful bodies and work very differently from Fujifilm's high-end cameras.
You wouldn't trust these cameras for high-end photography because they don't offer that level of image and video quality. But in certain circumstances, they are functional and pleasant to use.
FinePix Waterproof Cameras
These Fujifilm cameras can be used in harsh conditions and still give good results. This feature makes these cameras fun to use, though they don't create image quality that can match that of high-end cameras. FinePix waterproof cameras have small zoom lenses (typically 3X or 5X), so don't expect high-end telephoto performance.
Durable : A typical waterproof FinePix camera will work in temperatures as low as 14°F, in water 50 feet deep, and after a drop of about five feet. These cameras are sturdy, giving you a good value.
Instax Instant Print Cameras
If you remember the days of Polaroid cameras and wait for the "magic" of printing to appear, Fujifilm's Instax cameras will give you a similar feeling. You load film packs into these cameras and produce small instant prints when you press the shutter button. Square digital photos are also small, when you consider that most new digital cameras create images of 20 megapixels or more. Instax cameras are made for fun rather than serious photography. Fujifilm has three main Instax camera designs.
Mini : Its most popular instant print camera, Fujifilm sells several different models, including the Mini 9. These cameras create 2.4-by-1.8-inch prints.
Wide : Fujifilm Wide instant print cameras, such as the Wide 300, create prints that measure 2.4 inches by 3.9 inches.
Square : The Fujifilm Instax Square camera is a hybrid of a digital camera and instant print that creates square photos. You can store digital photos of about 3.7 megapixels on the internal memory, or you can choose to make prints that measure 2.4 square inches.
